- Chest (or Bust):
- Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal, under your armpits, and across the shoulder blades.
- Tip: Keep your arms relaxed and the tape snug, but not tight.
- Shoulder Width (For Coats/Jackets):
- Measure straight across the top of your back, from the outermost edge of one shoulder to the other.
- Waist:
- Measure the circumference around your natural waistline (the narrowest point, usually just above the belly button).
- Hips:
- Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, standing with your feet together.
- Thigh:
- Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your upper leg, just below the crotch.
- Inseam (Inner Leg Length):
- Measure from the crotch seam (where the legs meet) straight down the inside of your leg to the bottom of the ankle (or where the hem should fall).
